Résumé: Il s'appelle Kenny, il a treize ans et vit chez ses parents, dans un quartier ouvrier de Pittsburg. Comme tous les adolescents, Kenny se passionne pour le sport, la télévision, le skateboard et les filles. Pourtant, Kenny est différent. Lorsqu'il est né, on a dû l'opérer, à cause d'une méchante maladie, l'agnénésie. Il n'a plus de jambes, ni de bassin mais une agilité surprenante et un optimisme à toute épreuve. Il est bouleversant.

Le film fut récompensé au festival du fil de Montréal.

Le film a reçu les prix suivants :
- Grand Prix des Amériques au Festival de Montréal.
- Prix spécial du jury. Festival du film et de la jeunesse.
- Prix de l'UNESCO, mention spéciale de l'UNICEF. Festival de Berlin.
