«Long courrier» was a new disc included the collaboration work with Hart Rouge. The success of this album, released in 1990, lasted thanks to such works as «Qui sait?», «Jours de plaine» and «Le pape du rap», revealing internal and humorous sides of personality. Les Francofolies Festival in Montreal dedicated the night event to Daniel`s honor, titled «Celebration of Daniel Lavoie.» It took place while he was preparing for a shooting in the film «Le fabuleux voyage de l'ange» (directed by Jean Pierre Lefebvre), in this movie he performed the title song.
