If I would like to make the best compliment to the singer, it would be: he has his own style.
You hear him singing, and you do not even to know the song - it's Daniel Lavoie.

Album «Le Grand Chœur. Quand le Québec chante»

5701_469849883087170_562053377_n

Paul Daraîche, celebrating 45 years of his career, issued on the 11th of September, on terms of the 45th Festival Western de Saint-Tite, his new opus Mes Amours, Mes Amis, accompanied by Mario Pelchat who was the album’s producer. In this much expected album an impressing list of artists singing in duo with Paul Daraîche can be found, such as Isabelle Boulay, Roch Voisine, Maxime Landry, Daniel Lavoie, Lynda Lemay and even Marc Hervieux and Richard Desjardins who rarely agree to take part in creating collective albums, apart from the French ones. His Confidences, with Daniel Lavoie, is a marvellous story of friendship which the realisator Éloi Painchaud raised to the level of great songs, with the help of Guy Gagner and his violin.

The album and the booklet.
I’d like to specially underline the beauty of the album cover and the booklet. The cover is magnificent, and inside we can find a black and white photo of what can be called a western paysage, as well as the thanks that Paul Daraîche gives to the artists who helped him and his family. In the booklet, there is a big photo of every artist, as well as six mini-photos, and, surely, the lyrics of each song.
