In one small village, the old puppeteer master Dzhepetto lives alone with his cat, Figaro, and Cleo, the goldfish. The manufacturer of toys, he created a puppet, which he named Pinocchio. The greatest desire of him, having no children, was that this puppet could turn into the real little boy. At night, his wish was granted by the Blue Fairy, who breathed life into this puppet. She suggested a Pinocchio a deal: he was supposed to be a little boy on the condition that he becomes a worthy man. Jiminy Cricket, a grasshopper, found the refuge in Dzhepetto`s hause at night, sees his own purpose in being the doll`s conscience and prevent him to do bad things. As a reward he wants to be awarded by the medal. But the task turns to be very complex ...
Pinocchio has been living as a real boy for 12 years with his father Dzhepetto. But he hasn`t lost neither his playfulness nor his good heart.
Desiring to help his sick father, Pinocchio allows Madame Flambeau to wick himself. She sells him a strange elixir for Zhdepetto`s relief, using his innocence. This quack medicine is actually intended to transform the old puppeteer into a wooden puppet. Pinocchio must pass the tests by cunning, courage and ingenuity to help his father to get a human appearance back.
