Louise Forestier is a singer, actress and a songwriter. She was born in August 1943. She began her debut on stage in the mid-60`s. her first solo album was released in 1965. She starred in the musical «Tomorrow morning Monreal is waiting for me» («Demain matin Monreal m`attend»). At the same time she released her third album «Avec enzymes», which had a great success.
In 1981 Louise Forestier landed a role in the rock opera «Starmania». In the same year she was on tour in the former Soviet Union with a program devoted to Jaques Brel.
In 1990 she performed a role of the poet`s mother in the famous opera «Nelligan» .

The music for her new CD «Forestier chante Louise», released in 1997, was written by Daniel Lavoie. Daniel was also the director of this album.
