Marjo
Marjo began her artistic career as a chorine in the musical «Francois Guise». Later in 1979 she joined a group «Carbaugh», organized by the musician Pierre Harel. Within five years she be-came a famous singer and began to write lyrics for songs. In 1981-82 she sang a few hits such as «J`lache pas», «Ilega», which brought her a real success.
In 1990 Marjo released a solo album «Tant qu`il y aura des enfants», which brought her a phe-nomenal success with the songs «A bout de ciel», «Je sais, Je sais», «Y`a des matins». This CD will help her to win Felix for the best album of the ear in 1991.
In 2007 after an accidental fall and a serious injury all her tours and performances were can-celled. Only in 2009 Marjo announced her return to scene. Two unique discs with the male voices of Quebec «Marjo and her men» («Marjo et ses homes») were recorded very quickly. The performance of the same name ran in Quebec with great success. The song «I know, I know» is a duet with Daniel Lavoie.

Marjo says very touching words about Daniel in the interview:
«Smile! Eyes! What kind of eyes he has! Even I fall on my knees!»
